About
the creation of the Supmaran

The story of SUPMaRaN began 30 years ago.
As a windsurfing kid with a lot of imagination, the idea of building a catamaran out of two old surfboards was pretty obvious. At that time, however, the focus was on sailing (with a windsurfing sail). Unfortunately, it remained only a fantasy.

It wasn’t until the invention of inflatable SUP boards that the project really got a boost in the summer of 2019. Four generations of prototypes were then created in the heart of Switzerland and Austria until the series product with brand registration was ready for delivery in August 2023.
The “SUPMaRaN Light” was available in both our stores.

Soon most of the boats were sold and are now sailing around the world.
