SAILING & HANDLING
- Wind force: Optimal up to 4 Beaufort. At 5 Bft please head for the shore and release the sail.
- Stability: Enormously stable due to catamaran design. Solo sailors change sides when tacking (hold on to the mast) to keep the weight upwind.
- Performance: Max. Speed approx. 10 km/h. Glides on even in light winds.
- Safety: Paddles must always be carried. Basic sailing skills (holding height/cruising) are required.

With a few exceptions, all boards can be connected to the Supmaran frame. We use 80cm wide boards.
Hardboards and the like also work perfectly. In order not to change the appearance too much, we always recommend using two identical boards.
Ideally trolling motors up to 69 lbs thrust. Whereby trolling motors are slack water sliders and are not designed to run at full throttle for hours on end. This can cause the electronic controller to overheat and break after hundreds of hours. (With brushed motors)
We generally use 12 volt batteries and therefore have a high ampere output, which can lead to overheating.
If you want to go on extremely long tours, a brushless motor is recommended. To avoid overheating, a 24 volt system can help.
When using a 12 volt drive, a LIFEPO 4 / 100 AH has proven its worth. (4-6 hours full throttle)
IMPORTANT! The battery should have its own charge level indicator so that you always have the remaining current under control.
